I drew this for Hello Meadow, and I can't remember if I based the TV on the music video, or if the music video starts with TV imagery because of this drawing. The capitalist drone of TV. The world we buy into, literally. The Mall State. Its ubiquitous glare. Creating static everywhere.
I kind of love how the title is not on this drawing. For the sticker, the title "HELLO MEADOW" was superimposed over this image. But the TV with its old school dials, conjures a nostalgia for me. The same way old commercial jingles do. Are commercial jingles the folk songs of Capitalism?
